Monster Energy Masters of Dirt rocked zwarte cross

Now I have been involved with a lot of events over the years but none as crazy and fun as these! I recently had the chance to travel to a music festival called Zwarte Cross in the Netherlands just south east of Amsterdam! What is Zwarte Cross you ask? Get 146,00 drunk Dutch, German, French, Spanish, English you name it and put them all in one place, listen to loud music and have a good time! This was by far the biggest music festivals i have ever been to! To be able to ride and be part of such an event was such a fun experience! Masters Of Dirt along with Monster put on one of the craziest scaled down freestyle motocross shows I've ever done! Now when I say scaled down i mean we took a normal MOD show and cut it down to 40min shows. Along with myself, we had 4 dirt bike riders, 2 mountain bike riders, 3 mini bike riders and a sled guy flipping from Norway. We were scheduled to do 7 shows in 3 days but wind and rain would limit us down to 5. So there really wasn’t much to do but to catch up on some zzz’s in our change rooms!

We still had a blast putting on the shows and the crowd at each show absolutely went NUTS! We’ve already had tons of people asking if we’re going to come back next year - and I'm pretty sure we will be! One bad thing was because of the short trip we didn’t get to have any after parties but that didn’t stop us from getting rowdy at the hotel. For some reason the hotel bar we stayed at shut down at 11pm. And with the nearest bar/liquor store over 30 mins away what else could we do but order up 25 beers from the bar and bring them to our patio! By the end of the night we pretty much broke every glass and kept every person there up till 5am. The next morning they literally quarantined off the party area and made it look like a crime scene! Now of course i had to tone down this story to PG13 but still good times for sure!
