He may have just become the youngest rider ever to stomp a triple backflip on a mountain bike. Yeah, you read that right. Triple. Back. Flip. At fourteen.
As the Masters of Dirt Freestyle Showdown wraps up its wild European tour with the final show in Berlin this coming weekend, one young shredder just dropped a trick that has the entire freeride scene doing double (or should we say triple?) takes.

Meet Samy Louis Fernbach — 14 years old, born and raised in Vienna, and already three Masters of Dirt Tours deep. And now? He may have just become the youngest rider ever to stomp a triple backflip on a mountain bike. Yeah, you read that right. Triple. Back. Flip. At fourteen.
Let’s rewind a sec. Samy flipped his first backflip when he was just 8 years old. At 12, while most kids are still figuring out geometry homework, he was suiting up to ride in the world’s craziest freestyle show. And not just as a one-hit wonder—he was on the full Masters of Dirt Tour, sending it alongside the best of the best.
If you've ever been to a M.O.D. show, you know the vibe: massive tricks, nonstop energy, and a rider lineup that looks like a Crankworx finals combined with world-class show riders who don't necessarily belong to the comp scene, but throw down some of the biggest tricks in the world. It’s not just FMX, Buggy, Scooter, Sled and Fuel Girls chaos—Masters of Dirt brings together the most stacked crew of freestyle MTB legends anywhere on the planet, all throwing down banger after banger for the love of the show.

Two weeks later in Dortmund, Samy showed up with one thing on his mind: send the triple. With 8,000 fans losing their minds and the “Best Trick” segment cued up, the stars aligned—and so did Samy’s rotation. He dropped in, held nothing back, and spun his way straight into MTB history.
Now, as the European tour signs off in Berlin this weekend, the momentum’s rolling straight into Santiago de Chile on July 20th. South America, get ready—Masters of Dirt is coming in hot!
