We brought a range of freestyle action to LANXESS Arena
Hyped to bring the action to Cologne with a mix of familiar faces and first-time thrill-seekers. Influencers Johannesmlz and Lord Noel Dederichs teamed up with Gerhard Mayr in his custom buggy to tackle their very first backflip on four wheels - proof that the excitement at Masters of Dirt extends beyond two-wheel stunts.
Fabio Wibmer received a warm welcome from the crowd. Although a last-minute mechanical issue kept him from launching off our 8-meter scissor lift, he still landed several of his signature moves and then spent three hours meeting fans, taking photos, and signing Masters of Dirt posters.
The Freestyle Showdown presented by DERTOUR blended FMX and MTB disciplines in a steady stream of tricks. Nicholi Rogatkin and Mini Master Samy Louis Fernbach teamed up for back-to-back double flip 360s with surprising ease. X Games champion David Rinaldo followed with a textbook Cali Roll, and our roll-in crew - Giovanni Peterle, Tim Bringer and Richard Zelinka - closed the night with a triple backflip train on inline, MTB and scooter.
