Masters of Dirt creator and organizer, Georg Fechter, transformed the federal capital into the freestyle mecca this weekend: over 60 of the world's best freestyle motocross athletes, slopestyle mountain bike and BMX riders came together in Vienna and took the spectators' breath away with their spectacular stunts.

Mega show, cheering audience and daring stunts

With an explosive start on Friday, the daredevil gladiators of Masters of Dirt heated up another three times on Saturday and Sunday in the Wiener Stadthalle. The applause of the raving crowd was the fuel for the athletes and drove them to top performances.

Many stars mingled: Youtube star Fabio Wibmer, who demonstrated his skills at dizzying heights, brothers Daniel and Elias Ruso or FMX Pro Kai Haase could be seen. BMX and mountain bike riders took off from an approach ramp almost 12 meters high to gather enough speed for their stunts.

Even Masters of Dirt mastermind, Georg Fechter, ventured over the ramp again and was part of the field of riders himself. The organizer landed a double backflip.

"All our riders are real exceptional talents. The team spirit is simply indescribable. The Masters of Dirt family spurs each other on and thus ensures a brilliant, breathtaking show with ever newer tricks. They manage to literally sweep a sold-out Wiener Stadthalle off its feet," says the M.O.D organizer.

World sensation: 8-year-old MX athlete thrills audience

In a specially designed segment for young talents, this year the only 8-year-old motocross rider, Malik Bakhsh from Saudi Arabia, outshone everything with his performance.

Unique event: Often copied, but never equaled!

The right mix of freestyle, perfect beats by the legendary DJ Mosaken as well as great pyro and LED special effects, rounded off by the Fuel Girls makes Masters of Dirt so unique. Exhibitors in the foyer, gastronomy and merchandising with own Masters of Dirt fashion collection extended the M.O.D world of experience for more than 28,000 visitors. Another highlight of the M.O.D weekend was the legendary aftershow party on Saturday in the Viennese discotheque, Praterdome.

The unique effect Masters of Dirt has on the audience was shown again in 2022: this year, the organizer even made two surprising marriage proposals possible during the M.O.D show.
